Incredible soundtrack, only cowards say otherwise.

if there's one thing I'm learning from a lot of the incredibly kind things people have been saying about my posts over the last day or two it's that it's worth doing things becuase you find them enjoyable even if there's no immediate, obvious reaction

we're so trained to only care about likes and reblogs but there's so many people who read, don't interact, but still have a positive experience, and that is valuable. Holding faith that if you enjoy something, it'll be enjoyed, even if there's no immediate positive reinforcement that says so, is an attitude I hope to carry into my next Era of Posting

i've been crying a lot about cohost going down over the past two days, but i think i've cried equally as much of joy, and frankly, of surprise, at how unbelievably kind people are. people who haven't necessarily interacted with my posts/art, but who have seen them and remember them because they resonated with them. who remember me when i add them somewhere else to stay in contact; saying they would hate to lose contact with me.

before cohost, outside of small gated communities, i never felt like i belonged in a public community like this—like i was a person on social media rather than "an account", "a brand" or "a community".
it's an unbelievably precious feeling that i never want to let go
